Robert was born in Smithfield, North Carolina to Haitian parents who came to the U.S. to pursue the American Dream and he spent most of his childhood in South Florida. At age 11, his parents sent him to Haiti to spent time with his extended family and especially his grandmother who owned a successful local restaurant. Working alongside his grandmother he got inspired with her love for cooking and by age 14 he would start his own career in the restaurant business. (Read More)
